This kit is purely designed for sweeping 4", 5" & 6" multifuel, oil, gas and biomass flues. This system is highly efficient and it takes less than 30 seconds to connect all the double button lock rods together. These rods are highly flexible and are ideal for sweeping a liner through an Aga, Rayburn cooker, biomass boiler, pellet stove or small ducting, especially where there is a 90 degree bend. The main difference between the 10mm rods and the 12mm rods are the size of the fittings(ferrules).
 
This kit will go up to 9 Metres in height, but additional rods can be purchased to extend this. The fittings (Ferrules) of the rods are made of solid stainless steel, so they do not corrode, unlike aluminium that pits and eats the metal if cleaning solid fuel/smokless flues. The ferrules are also quadrupled crimped at each end onto the 10mm solid nylon rod.
 
You have a choice of 5" or 6 Mini Mole Rotary Power Brush and the Rapid Light Loader whip head which is solid aluminium and only 16mm in width, so ideal for tight access, plus an 8" Bullet Whip Head. Both whip heads use the less aggressive thinner 2.7mm width whip line.
 
All the rods are red in colour and we do not make a lead rod, as we feel that this is a weakness in the kit. Using the same rod as a lead rod every time makes that one lead rod very weak after a period of time, and in our experience using other systems this can lead to a breakage of the lead rod, so rotating all the rods in the kit is the preferred method of power sweeping. 
 
The 10mm rods can connect directly on the 8mm rods if needed, or with the 12mm rods by using the  step adaptor(ADPT305).
